PROJECT VIGNYAN - SEARCH FOR A SCHOLAR
Helping Hands 4 Poor took an initiative to find merit students from government schools and award them with scholarships through our project Vignyan.
We organize an exam to test the scholastic and mental ability of a student.
Pattern of Exam: The exam paper would be in two parts, Part – I: SCHOLASTIC TEST which comprises of 50 questions covering Syllabus from subjects of 10th class and Part – II: MENTAL ABILITY TEST Would comprise questions from English, General Knowledge, Aptitude and computers, the students would also have to answer an essay on the topic provided.
The student must secure a minimum of 60 marks (with at least 35 marks from Part-I and at least 25 marks from Part-II) to be considered for awarding a scholarship. The Scholarships will be awarded to the top 5 performers from the exam.
Our Activity:
We have organized a Scholarship exam for X-class students from government schools, 397 students from 8 different schools (ZPHS Mamidipally, Balapur,Badangpet,Nadergul--Hyderabad & also at ZPHS Kalasapadu , Girls High School (Kalasapadu),Sankavaram, Ramapuram in Kadapa Dist, AP) appeared for the exam and the top 10 performers were rewarded with scholarships worth of Rs.40,000/- in total.
