Blood is that magic potion which gives life to another person. There is severe shortage of blood for patients in many accident cases, for innocent children suffering from thalassemia, pregnant women, cancer patients and other people in life threatening situations and this is resulting in their death due to shortage of blood. We have started this project to promote awareness among people about blood donation and also to provide donors for the people in case of emergencies.
About our PROJECT:
- We organize blood donation camps in Hyderabad with various government blood banks.
- We believe that organizing camps provides a better solution for problem of blood shortage thereby helping for the treatment of kids suffering with Thalassemia and Cancer.
- We Collect blood donor information of enthusiastic donors from different colleges and corporate companies and promote blood donation through various campaigns and awareness programs.
- We arrange blood donors in case of emergency .We search for donors through mobile texting (via our helpline) and through social networking sites (via FB) and arrange donors for the needy.
- We conduct blood donation awareness campaigns in rural areas and perform tests to identify blood groups so that all the data from enthusiastic donors can be collected and they can be informed for donating blood in case of emergency.
What makes us different from others?
- We save lives: Each unit of blood collected can save 3 lives
- We help the poor and the needy: We organize camps mainly with govt. blood banks there by helping the poor.
- We help for free- always: We provide helpline support for free and also arrange donors by searching through social networking sites.
Till date we have organized 9 blood donation drives and arranged donors for over 1000+ blood requirements in case of emergencies over the last four years.
